Bishops Cannings Football Club

James Cooper coaches the Bishops Cannings under U9's Lightnings . We currently have 12 members at this age group. Fun, safe and engaging training sessions are held weekly, with games in the Mid Wilts League on Saturdays.

We coach technical methods of play such as;

• Learning the principles of play in attacking and defending football
• Develop the technical components of game related play

We coach physical methods of play such as

• Age appropriate training
• Development of movement and balance
• Thoughtful progression for player's needs

Building social and psychological skills such as;

• Good peer interaction and participation in class
• Develops a strong sense of identity within the group
• Understands basic concepts of team play
• Awareness of surroundings and other players
